The Vanishing Death Ray Documents
Date: 1943
Story:
At the time of his death in Room 3327 at the New Yorker Hotel, Tesla claimed he had developed a “death ray” capable of destroying aircraft from hundreds of miles away.
He called it the Teleforce weapon and proposed it to multiple governments as a defense shield.
After his death, the FBI and Office of Alien Property Custodian seized his belongings.
They claimed they found nothing of military value.
But years later, it emerged that the U.S. military had secretly evaluated his work and handed it to MIT professor John G. Trump, uncle of future President Donald Trump.
While John Trump dismissed the ideas as speculative, conspiracy theorists believe the weapon's plans were classified or stolen.
Some suggest it was the precursor to modern directed energy weapons.
Tesla’s family protested, but many of his documents vanished permanently.
What truly happened to the death ray—and did it end up in a Pentagon vault?
